Blessing Way

My cute friend Marissa threw me a blessing way.

She is pretty wonderful.

I feel lucky that she is my battle buddy through this entrepreneur business start up deal. 

See, her husband is Andy's business partner. 

Now, you may be wondering, what is a blessing way? 

A blessing way is all about the mom. Unlike a baby shower, a blessing way is an opportunity to show the mom support. No baby gifts, no cheesy baby games, just positive vibes and rituals that help the soon to be mother feel support and love.

That's exactly what happened. 

Everyone came with a bead and and shared a thought of what that bead represents. Marissa is making a bracelet with all the beads and i will wear that in labor as a reminder of the support i have from all these wonderful women. 

My sister-in-law made the beautiful flower crown.

I felt so much love from everyone. They all had such kind and encouraging words to say. Marissa even gave me a foot massage! 

I feel so blessed to have such a great support system for me and this baby.
