Wonder was a very fun book to read. It was for a younger crowd and spoke from the perspective of pre-teens and teens. It made me laugh and it made my heart ache. The story is about a young boy with a deformed face. The book is him sharing his experience as he enters the public school system for the first time but you also get the perspective of his sister and friends from school. I love that i got to see many sides to the story. It can be easy to judge a character from one point of view but then you see another side and you understand more completely. It made me better appreciate and love people who are different than me.
My favorite message from the book was, "Act a little kinder than is necessary."
