Charlie is quite the character. Everyday is so much fun with him. He is turning out to be quite adventurous; jumping onto couches and throwing himself off of furniture are the new fun things to do. We had our first experience at Kangaroo Zoo today. Kangaroo Zoo is a place full of giant blowup play toys. Charlie LOVED it. He was go go go, which really wore me out. But nothing is better than seeing him so happy and enjoying himself. This is just a peek into the fun we had today.
Charlie has many faces. I should try capturing more of them with my camera but I am not the quickest. He has got the cheesiest grin. If he is in a good mood and hears the word smile: he throws you a squinty eyed, open mouth, scrunched up nose type of grin. It makes me laugh every time.
Another fun thing we have been enjoying this spring or is it officially summer? I'm not sure. When we are outside playing, which is most of the time, we have to look for the garden snake that lives under the porch stair. Charlie will lay down on the stair and peek his head over the ledge to catch a glimpse of that slithery thing.
I just think he is the greatest. My grandma recently pointed out to me that I really do love Charlie. I thought that was a funny thing to say. Of coarse I love him, he's my son! But she went on to say, "your eyes just sparkle and light up when you look at him, like when we used to play skip-bo and you would have a skip-bo in your hand."
I am just treasuring this fun time with him.
