A New Year is here and the best is yet to be! I am currently preparing a lesson to teach in Relief Society this Sunday so if you click on the link above that is a great talk by Elder Holland, it has given me some inspiration. Beginning a new year is exciting! I love reflecting on the past but so ready to move forward. I love making goals. I learned that as a missionary in New York. An apostle, Elder Ballard said,
“I am so thoroughly convinced that if we don’t set goals in our life and learn how to master the technique of living to reach our goals, we can reach a ripe old age and look back on our life only to see that we reached but a small part off our full potential. When one learns to master the principles of setting a goal, he will then be able to make a great difference in the results he attains in this life.”

Last year my goal was to write every member of my family and Andy's, a birthday card. I wanted to do that to build my relationships with them and show them my love for them. Plus, birthdays are the best and to be celebrated! I plan to continue with the cards, or at least something.

This year i am making the goal to memorize one scripture every month. The purpose is to: fill my mind with worthy and uplifting thoughts, to share with others my testimony, to think more of the Savior, and to gain knowledge to better teach my children.

I will Blog every months scripture!
