lots of thanks...

Ok...i was getting ahead of myself with the Christmas talk in  my last post. I need to slow down and remember the special holiday of Thanksgiving and be grateful for all that God has given me.
The Living Prophet of God, Thomas S. Monson said, "Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey, and share our love with friends and family" Having gratitude everyday is having joy in our journey. I try to live that way, and when its more challenging and life is hard i have to try even harder. All over Facebook and blogs people have been sharing one thing they are grateful for everyday. I would like to catch myself up by starting at the beginning.
DAY ONE right now i am thankful for Charlie's ability to take naps. He used to not take naps so easily. Life was hard and stressful for me when i didn't get a break and he didn't get rest which made him more cranky. I am grateful i was able to endure those days and now enjoy my little boy more, with both of us getting the rest we need.
DAY TWO i am grateful for opportunities to serve. I know i am much happier when there is someone i can help or someone i can lend a listening ear too. I am grateful Heavenly Father lets us help him serve and love his children.
DAY THREE i love my husband! He is so kind and good to me. I am grateful for his sacrifice by going to work day in and day out. i love seeing him run home to Charlie and I. I especially love the excitement on Charlie's face when he does. He is a Daddy's boy, that's for sure.
DAY FOUR i am grateful for food and the ability to eat. Sounds weird, but i am...so grateful!! All the ordeals i have had with my throat and tonsils makes me love the blessing of food and eating.

it was a good start...back to the babe i'll continue later :)
