old journal entires

I am grateful for journals. I am grateful that from a young age i loved writing in my journals. I have many journals filled with my secrets. Mostly about who i liked at the time :) Well tonight i grabbed an old note book, or so i thought, to write down some thoughts as a i prepared to speak in church. As i opened the note book i realized it was my journal from Feb 2010. I of coarse got sucked into reading it. Next thing i knew it was an hour later and my love for Andy grew 10 fold! The entries were from our first date all through our courtship and to the engagement. It was so fun to think back to that "magical time"!

No love interest at the moment. I'm 22 so don't even worry. I've got time.

I had no date...but then Roudy invited me to a hockey game. Travis invited me to play volleyball (both texted. Both minus one point) Then Andy from my ward called. He invited me to the Banff Mountain Film Festival (one point for calling. One point for a date). So i went with Andy and i am glad i did.

Andy, from the ward called. Last name W something. He's 1/2 Japanese so it's hard to pronounce. We're going out Thursday night. Its been the most excited I've been about a date for a long time.

Best date EVER. Thanks Andy :) He went to Jackson Hole this weekend. It's weird, i miss him.

Everything went well...except for when mom mentioned how i showed her pictures of him on Facebook. Embarrassing!!

I had a dream that i accidentally said, "i love you" to him over the phone. I panicked!

Andy and I laugh a lot together. I always come home with a tired belly but it's the feeling of happiness.

He finally said "I love you" and i did too, in between filled with all our silly talk and laughter. We're thinking September.

And so we did. We were married September 25. It happened fast, but when you know you know, right? I had forgotten how exciting and fun our courtship was. I am glad for these journals so i'll never forget! I love this Andy guy, i am so glad i married him.
