Yawnversation

Andy and i were driving home one evening. We were both a bit tired but still trying to have a decent conversation. One yawn after another we tired to talk through the yawns...  i am sure you know what that's like, almost impossible to understand what the other person is trying to say. But we continued through trying to make sense of each other. Then Andy said something like, "We're having a yawnversation!" Of coarse i busted up laughing.

One of the reason's i love Andy so much is his ability to make me laugh. Really laugh, an out loud laugh. From date #1 he has been making me laugh out loud and i enjoy it so much. He also makes up his own jokes, which usually get the courtesy laughs. But they're still fun.

One night he was going through his routine of putting cream on his itchy dry eczema spots. Then he paused, looked at me and said, " What kind of lotion do pigs wear?" I don't ever try to answer these kind of jokes so he continued on, "Oinkment". He comes up with these kinds of jokes often and every time i say, "Did you really just make that up?" The answer is always, Yes. I guess that's just how his brain works. I told him i should start a book of Andy jokes.

A part of Andy's sense of humor is rubbing off on me. When he hears someone describe something figuratively he will then imagine it literally. I knew i had developed this talent as well when we were on a bus at Zion National Park. A woman was telling a joke and then went on to say, "We were laughing our butts off!" I turned to Andy with wide eyes, "I wonder how that works?" We laughed about it and tried to figure out if your butt fell off would it take your whole bottom half, legs included? or just slide right off your body. This makes me chuckle just thinking about it.

Now you know a little bit more about Andy and I and our twisted humor. Thanks to him it seems like we always have something to laugh about. I love laughing, its so good for the SOUL!
