I'm not really a dog person but surprisingly enough, this movie kind of made me want to be. Andy and i watched this Friday night cuddled on the couch. I'm always grateful for good, clean, family entertainment. This movie wasn't just entertaining it was uplifting. I loved it in a way i don't think it was meant to be seen or maybe it was. Watching it i found myself thinking how ordinary it was, it was just a story about a couple living their life. By the end i realized how great ordinary really is. An interesting part of the movie show's you Jon (Owen Wilson) with a friend of his who is handsome, successful, and single, always chasing the ladies. The friend thinks that Jon isn't living because he is tied down by a wife and soon after children...By the end of the movie the friend is still exactly the same but now he has a hint of sadness in his eyes. Jon on the other hand has so much in life; a wife who loves and supports him, wonderful children, and a dog that's crazy, but a part of the family.
My other favorite part is when Jon comes home to his wife Jenny (Jennifer Aniston). They don't hide the reality of parenthood AT ALL! She's got a crying baby and toddler, and a dog running wild through the house. You can tell she has had her last straw and tells Jon the dog has got to go! At this point, i was like, "FINALLY! Way to go Jenny!" So Jon sadly takes the dog to a friends house until things cool down at home. I was surprised when Jon got home Jenny apologized and said the dog's home was with them. Confused at first i then learned a crucial lesson. That when things get hard you don't just send them away. You work through it. Your most trying moments soon become your greatest blessings, your greatest JOY! Life, and especially being a young mom is challenging. But i love it. I wouldn't change it. Sure i feel crazy sometimes and stumped at how to solve whatever problem is going on but life is beautiful. This movie did a marvelous job at portraying life how it really is. After watching it made me appreciate my husband and little Charlie even more!
So the big question: are we going to get a dog someday? Maybe. I will now consider it, as before my answer was not a chance.

I love this movie too, I actually have a post about it as well. Lol. It is great to watch, and makes me happy every time. Haha Eve loves to watch the menu play over and over and runs around yelling puppy, puppy!
