Active Birth: I can do it!

 My new favorite book as i prepare for the birth of a real, live human! I am planning to go natural all the way. A way to make sure that happens is to have a birth in a birthing center with a midwife. I get quite excited at times and other times feel like i am  crazy! But as i study and read i know i can do it. I just have to prepare. They say its like running a marathon. There is no way you can do it if you don't do what you can to prepare. Active Birth helps me do exactly that, PREPARE!

The other thing that is helping me prepare is our Brio Birthing class. Every time i walk away from that class i feel comfort, i feel calm, i feel excitement! I have a great teacher, Alyssa Bray. The manual is also a great source of information. Sheesh... it's hard to believe a real human boy is inside of me. I feel him kick and nudge me every once and a while, and it's still hard to believe. He and i will both be going through this birthing experience together so i want to make it comfortable for him as well as for me.
